Disclaimer
Just to make it perfectly clear, FobOff is a bit of fun.
All error messages are randomly generated from a pre-defined list of 'technical' words. Once the thingymabob has generated the random (and funny-but-totally-realistic-sounding) error, it's then very nice to you, and grabs a random manufacturer from another pre-defined list of manufacturers, and then randomly generates an 0873 number.
With all this information at hand, you can FobOff at will!
To re-iterate, the phone numbers are randomly generated and are not in any way associated with the manufacturer displayed. And just to stop me getting in trouble, the error messages generated are in no way connected to the manufacturers. If you call the number listed there is a possibility it might be an actual number, and you may incur telephone charges. You'll only have yourself to blame for that.
If you'd like your manufacturer name removed please just get in touch and it'll be removed immediately.
FobOff.co.uk used to be available as an automated bot on Twitter, under the name of @ITFobOffBot. The bot used to tweet a random FobOff twice an hour but the Musk and the APIs have now le broken twitter so it's dead in the water.
To confirm, this is a bit of fun. If you don't like fun, laughter or all of the LOLZ please don't use the site or follow the Twitter bot, but please tell people about it!
In addition, anything you see or hear on the ProComputerSupport YouTube channel should be taken with a pinch of salt. It's all just silly jokes.
